The Society of Classical Christian Education invites you to join the excitement of creating visual history.  Experience the carefree delight of a Victorian ball and the solemn gravity of a battle from the War Between the States. Be immersed in the sights, sounds, and physical movements of actual events from the 19th century.


This April, the staff of will come to Colorado Springs to transform participants into living historians.  All training and lessons are included, no previous knowledge or experience necessary.  Uniforms, muskets, cannons, and more will be provided.  A professional movie crew will direct and produce a battle video of our reenactment which families can watch over and over.  Boys, girls, parents, grandparents, and friends are all welcome to join every aspect of this special opportunity to connect with our nation’s history in a unique way.

Civil War Ball – April 6th, 2018 at 6 pm. First Baptist Church Black Forest. (Must attend a class April 6th at noon, the same day, same location.)


Civil War Battle Reenactment – April 7th, 10 am in Black Forest.  (Must attend a training March 24th from 11am until 5pm.  Location provided to paid participants.)

Additional participants over the age of 7 from the same household – $50 each


PLEASE NOTE: While female participants will be issued uniforms for the battle, they will need to provide their own gowns for the ball.
